Corruption, money laundering and cash fraud is an (inter)national problem. Billions are laundered every year. To prevent money laundering, organizations must continuously investigate their clients. An obligation that on the one hand contributes to a transparent and honest working environment. On the other hand, this obligation to investigate is experienced as an enormous regulatory burden.   

At ComplianceWise, we have developed Grub. Thanks to Grub, these organizations can quickly, easily, but also fully comply with the anti-money laundering regulations, including the obligation to investigate. In addition, they can kill two birds with one stone, because with Grub they also contribute to a better world.   

We are currently helping more than 400 offices in the target group administration, accounting and tax advisors with our software. An industry with enormous growth potential because only 15% of the total market currently invests in anti-money laundering software. It is therefore ComplianceWise’s goal to become the largest player in this industry in the Netherlands and Europe within a few years.

About the position 
Our goal is to win the Dutch accountancy market in the short term. In doing so, it is a requirement that we more than double our revenue in the coming years. We already have a product that fits our target group perfectly, but we will have to keep improving and innovating to maintain that fit and leading position. You are the person who can accelerate our product development and take our product to the next stage. As Head of Product, you look ahead and create the vision of how you think the product should be developed so that it offers more value to the target accountants.  Initially, the focus is the Netherlands, but the product must be made ready to scale to other countries within 18 months. Together with the product owner, you translate the product vision into the product roadmap and bring it to life. You make the roadmap connect to quarterly ‘OKRs’ and fortnightly sprints. You bring the team and the whole company into this. We are a small team with big ambitions so it’s not just thinking and managing, but above all doing. That is what energizes us: make it happen! You will report to the COO and will closely work with the CEO. 

Your tasks and responsibilities  

• Developing a product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives
• Using a Design Thinking process and Product Discovery skills to get to new insights and approaches  
• Engage stakeholders in the development process so that we are all behind the vision and roadmap   
• Daily management of the product/development team: creating and maintaining OKRs and coaching the team.   
• Preparing and facilitating the internationalization of Grub

Your profile

• Analytically and strategically strong
• Brings people easily into vision and approach, seeks alignment
• Relevant experience in managing a product/development team.
• Knowledge of product management methodologies and best practices, including agile development and design thinking.
• Experience with a SaaS application, preferably in a smilair market
