Corruption, money laundering and cash fraud is an (inter)national problem. Billions are laundered every year. To prevent money laundering, organizations must continuously investigate their clients. An obligation that on the one hand contributes to a transparent and honest working environment. On the other hand, this obligation to investigate is experienced as an enormous regulatory burden.

At ComplianceWise, we have developed Grub. Thanks to Grub, these organizations can quickly, easily, but also fully comply with the anti-money laundering regulations, including the obligation to investigate. In addition, they can kill two birds with one stone, because with Grub they also contribute to a better world.

We are currently helping more than 400 offices in the target group administration, accounting and tax advisors with our software. An industry with enormous growth potential because only 15% of the total market currently invests in anti-money laundering software. It is therefore ComplianceWise’s goal to become the largest player in this industry in the Netherlands and Europe within a few years.

About the position

We want to more than double in the next year and maintain “high double digit” growth in the years after that. As a People Specialist at ComplianceWise, your mission is to transform us into a great place to work and an exceptionally attractive employer. You’ll take on a versatile role, focusing on all phases of the employee lifecycle. This includes Employer Branding, Recruitment, Onboarding, Talent Management, Compensation, Culture, and Payroll Processing.

You are a driving force behind the People & Culture policy, both in its development and execution. And as a start-up, execution is crucial. You’ll initiate improvements and collaborate with management to realize them. Moreover, you are always available for colleagues with HR-related questions and are at the heart of our organization.

We’re a small team with big ambitions so it’s not just thinking and managing, but mostly doing. That’s what energizes us: make it happen! You will report to the COO.

Your tasks and responsibilities

In this role, your influence will be felt across various areas of the employee lifecycle. You will:

  • Establish ComplianceWise as a prominent employer.
  • Oversee and execute the recruitment process, refining it to increase the quality of hires.
  • Design and implement an inspiring and effective onboarding program for new hires.
  • Develop a practical and satisfying Talent Management cycle for both employees and management.
  • Refine our company culture, aligning it with desired behaviors.
  • Create a transparent and equitable compensation policy, including a suitable salary framework.
  • Manage smooth and efficient payroll operations.

Your profile

  • You determine goals and priorities and to assess the actions, time and resources needed to achieve those goals.
