About the Role:
As a Product Designer at ComplianceWise, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our compliance solutions. Reporting to Youssef Hounat, Head of Product, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and effective user interfaces that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design System Development: Continue to develop and maintain our design system to ensure consistency across all products.
- User Research: Conduct and synthesize user research to inform upcoming features, ensuring they align with user needs and behaviors.
- Feature Design: Design the user experience for the Grub Assistant, our key AI feature slated for 2025, focusing on usability and seamless integration. You will have end to end ownership over the full UX design process including prototyping, user research and collaboration with engineers to develop your designed features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with your “Product Trio” to develop ideas into value for the user: Working with your product manager and lead engineering colleagues you will establish the priority of solutions to resolve the problems which the product manager has discovered and deliver feasible solutions in collaboration with engineering colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
- Design Expertise: Demonstrated excellence in design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX design processes.
- B2B SaaS Experience: Previous experience working in a B2B SaaS environment, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of enterprise software design.
- Curiosity and Improvement: Intellectual curiosity with a proactive approach to improving systems and evolving UX design practices.
- Figma Proficiency: Proficient in using Figma for design tasks, including prototyping and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Design Strategy: Experience in preparing design strategies and visions that align with business goals.
- Behavioral Insights: Familiarity with behavioral psychology or cognitive science principles to inform UX decisions.
- User Research: Experience conducting and synthesizing user research and usability testing.
- UX Copywriting: Specific experience working with UX copy to enhance user engagement and clarity.
- Design Systems: Experience in building and maintaining a design system from scratch.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch (speaking and writing) is a plus.
What We’re Not Looking For:
- Candidates with experience limited to graphic design or marketing design.
- Individuals with only front-end web design experience without ownership of the full UX process.
- People management experience is not required for this role.
- While experience working with accountants or bookkeepers is a plus, it is not required.
