Corruption, money laundering and cash fraud is an (inter)national problem. Billions are laundered every year. To prevent money laundering, organizations must continuously investigate their clients. An obligation that on the one hand contributes to a transparent and honest working environment. On the other hand, this obligation to investigate is experienced as an enormous regulatory burden.   

At ComplianceWise, we have developed Grub. Thanks to Grub, these organizations can quickly, easily, but also fully comply with the anti-money laundering regulations, including the obligation to investigate. In addition, they can kill two birds with one stone, because with Grub they also contribute to a better world.   

We are currently helping more than 400 offices in the target group administration, accounting and tax advisors with our software. An industry with enormous growth potential because only 15% of the total market currently invests in anti-money laundering software. It is therefore ComplianceWise’s goal to become the largest player in this industry in the Netherlands and Europe within a few years.

About the position 

Our goal is to win the Dutch accountancy market in the short term. In doing so, it is a requirement that we more than double our revenue in the coming years. We already have a product that fits our target group perfectly, but we will have to keep improving and innovating to maintain that fit and leading position. The client facing part of our application should be appealing and easy to understand. As FE developer you will work together with the team to deliver high quality user experience. You will report to the Lead Developer. You will work in a cross-functional Team pairing up and sparring with Backend and Frontend Software Engineers and a QA Engineer. 

Task and responsibilities

• Come up with UX proposals for new features 
• Collaborate with the Frontend and Backend Engineers in the team to design new solutions and refactoring 
• Develop new components and fix bugs 
• Create and maintain unit tests 
• Create and maintain the existing end-2-end tests and check the daily build for failures

Your profile  

• Proficiency in Angular development and associated languages (Typescript) and testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma and Cypress)
• Knowledge about REST API concepts
• Understanding asynchronous programming concepts (e.g. promises and observables)
• Experience maintaining and debugging Frontend application code
• Experience writing HTML and CSS
